This incident resulted in the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a theft at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to police.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the injured in the event. Five people went to hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Officers detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault near the location. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people injured by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not considered an act of terror - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
